Uottawa Collective Agreement

If your T4 receipt has not been issued, is not in your employee account, or you have not received it, please call Human Resources at 613-562-5832 or email infohr@uottawa.ca. The Human Resources Office is located in the Tabaret Room, Room 019. If you encounter any problems trying to reach the Human Resources department, please contact us by email at info@2626.ca or by phone at 613-562-5345. Like any other information or document related to your work as a university employee, your T4 receipt must be sent to your staff inbox or by mail. This is an important document needed to file your tax return. Your T4 is available on My HR Profile, which you can access via the University of Ottawa`s Human Resources page. As an employee of the University of Ottawa, you may have a different employee email address than your student. Your employee`s email address should be listed in your last contract, where you can also find your employee number. You should regularly check your employee`s inbox to make sure you don`t miss any important clues. You can also access your VirtuO employee account (similar to your uoAccess student account) (see below).

Your T4 is different from other forms (such as the T4A) available in uoAccess under « My Taxes » and related to student life (T4A, T2202A, U-Pass, RL-8). Unlike these forms, your T4 refers to your employee status and is available in My HR Profile. On this page, you will find forms and other documents that you need as a unionized employee, as well as information about your T4 income tax receipt. This page also contains helpful instructions to help you access your employee`s email inbox, where important documents are often sent. Please click on the links below for more information on each article. T4 and T4A can display similar amounts, although they play different roles. The university will send a notification of T4 receipts to your employee`s email address, which may be different from your student`s email address. If you have a teaching or research assistant, marker, proktor, etc. contract at the University of Ottawa, you will be considered a university employee in addition to your student status. As a staff member, you should receive notice from the university about the availability of your T4 receipt during the winter semester, usually in February or early March. .
